The issue has now been resolved. If you experience that tasks still doesn't work you can force the fix by restarting the screen, this should only be necessary in a few edge cases.
We've fixed the core issue, and are waiting for things to recover.
We are currently working on fixing an issue with the task app. At the moment there seem to be problems completing tasks.
